    State-run park which was born in ruins where U.S. forces Tachikawa base was returned to as commemorative project for Emperor Showa reign 50 years in 1983 (Showa 58). Very large land of 1,800,000 square meters is distributed between zone of forest, open space zone, zone of water, display facility zone, green culture zone, and various facilities or playground equipments are installed every area.

    We can enjoy various flowers and trees through the year, and events such as illuminations are carried out in fireworks display, winter in summer, too.
